Biannual Publication
JHST publishes two regular issues per calendar year:

Online First
To minimize publication lag, accepted articles are published individually online as "Articles in Press" immediately after final proofreading, before they are assigned to a specific issue. This ensures your research is available to the community as quickly as possible.
Special Issues
The journal occasionally publishes Special Issues focused on emerging topics or conference proceedings. Calls for papers for special issues are announced in the Announcements section.
